The pub has a long history, dating back to the early 19th century when it was originally a coaching inn, providing accommodation and refreshment for travellers passing through the area. The Arncliffe Arms serves a range of traditional pub grub, including locally sourced meats, fresh fish, vegetarian options and off course the famous Sunday lunch. The menu changes throughout the year, but you’ll find a good example of our food here.
The bar area boasts a well-stocked bar, featuring a variety of local ales from the finest Yorkshire brewers, wines, and spirits. The bar area has a wide screen TV, pool table and darts area, if you prefer somewhere quiet to dine and chat the Arncliffe has a large seated area. This area is popular with local for quiz nights and functions.

The Arncliffe Arms In addition to its role as a popular pub, also offers bed & breakfast accommodation, with six comfortable and well-appointed single, twins and double guest rooms available for visitors to stay in. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some of the rooms also have views of the surrounding countryside or the village.
In the morning, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast in the dining area, breakfast is included in the room rate.
